Since the car's gonna be going to paint in about a month, I want to get some things ready to go before I take her apart for the shop. One is the "Limited Edition" lettering. If no one sells the lettering, I'm wondering if I can take a rubbing of it to a vinyl shop and have them cut it out for me.

I'm sure you could, or just try to match the font/size/spacing to be the same. If you made extra I'm sure you could sell some, I know I'd probably take a couple.

Most vinyl shops I've used in the past use photoshop to input the designs into their vinyl cutters. So I'm thinking if I take a rubbing, it wouldn't be hard to just scan it in and run a couple off. I'll start making some calls here soon.

Keep in mind that left and right are different. I hand carved mine and it took forever.

Since my vert was originally red. I just asked them to leave the Limited Edition on my vert in red and paint the rest of the car green. So basically I still have all of the lettering but its only in red and not green. But its still there so everythings cool. Just thought id put my opinion/story out there.

I'm gonna have them remove the black stripe for the painting and then redo it. That means I gotta figure out what to do with the lettering. Vinyl shops ftw

I had some body work done on mine. They painted a black stripe, then got a decal company to replicate the lettering. You literally can't tell the difference unless you're REALLY close up on it.

Nissan supposedly still sells the emblems ("accent stripe, rear fender"). ~$34 each side. Be sure to get the right ones for your paint code.

Personally, I'd go without the accent stripe. Makes the car look dated.
