I just got a 'vert. It had Limited Edition markings... I noticed from some of the pictures here that some of you had it too. What exactly does it mean? Some of the letters were coming off.. so I took them off. Should I have left them on? Where can I purchase a replacement... not the dealer I hope. I called them for a steering wheel replacement (coz the one I have is scratched up) they wanted 700 or so bucks!!!

All verts are Limited Edition and had the stickers. You can get the lettering off a junkyard vert, or I believe some of the coupes and hatches had the stickers, too. I took mine off since I didn't like the "black line" going around the car.

You can find a steering wheel on the forum classifieds, junkyard, or Ebay for around $10-$20. Any '89-''94 240SX steering wheel with cruise buttons should work.

I live in DC and you're in CA! All of my junkyards are you-pull-it, so, it would be bit of a hike for you.

Mine came off my 240 vert and now i have completely debaged my car because of the new paint job. Still trying to find the badge that says 240sx on it.

the "Limited Edition" sticker can be cut out of vinyl by any good shop. I would try to drop them off as much of the original lettering as possible so they can get the size and font down.

Take it to your local car audio shop. Most of them can cut them out of vinyl for you.

I say don't bother putting any stickers on the car...it looks ten times better without accent stripes and decals. Plus I like people having no clue what kind of car it is....I get asked what kind of car it is about five times as much as "SR?" Most people never knew Nissan made a convertible 240SX but they like mine when they see it!

People get double confused by my car since it says Silvia on the back. I'm waiting for the day I get pulled over and the cop has to ask what the hell kind of car it is.

Eh...it's not that exciting to get pulled over and asked what kind of car it is for his ticket writing purposes... That's something I've dealt with ever since I started driving 12 years ago with the cars I've been driving. They just ask you...what kind of car is this...and then write that down and continue writing your ticket
