Adam have you gotten your engines yet, and is it harder to import cars from australia than Japan, such as a bluebird sss?

What would you like to bet?Remember that the vehicle must have license and registration and insurance (street able car), although where doesn't matter. Utilize a Nissan body or motor and you're in the clear. We'll do this in the late summer when we host the Nissan Challenge here in Houston.

The first engines have cleared, the second engines are coming and I'll be bringing them together.

I don't know, what do you want to bet? : ) Hehe, I like utilize a Nissan body or motor. : ) Funny, I'll utilize a Nissan body and motor. =P Sounds good, define late summer?

LCM is hosting the event and it will be held at one of our home tracks:

Houston Raceway ParkRiver City RacewayTemple Academy Dragway

You wanna pick up the $12,000 tab for renting out a 1/4 mile track for a weekend we'll do it wherever you like. Otherwise stop complaining and just be ready to come hard!

We're looking for Mid August to Early September depending on the track's schedule. I'm still waiting to hear back from the tracks on availability specifics.

More than half of the cars driving in for the event would be impounded by the police for CA Emissions violations.

Heh, you're exempt from California's laws if your car is registered in another state. : )

not if you do it right... those cars will be here for one reason... for the track.. and if your car is not from CA they can not impound your car!

point taken.

still though, are you going to pay the $12000 to rent the track for a weekend in Cali? It will cost us nearly that to trailer out our 5 drag cars for the weekend.

Yes. 13,050 to be exact.

Houston street racing is just as lucrative if you know where to go, and who to go with.
