my oil temperature gauge is mounted in my oil filter adapter, which i was told would give inaccurate readings due to it being a "pressurized" area, and that i should move my gauge temp sensor to the oil pan. ^Is this correct?

The CA oil pan is steel correct? I just have to remove the pan, drill a hole, weld the bung, and reinstall. Should i use RTV for pan gasket, or what should i use?

I think thats it. Thanks

(btw, Hello again CA Family. Long time no post )

Does you sensor probe look similar to this?

If it does then I'd have to say that NO it wont affected by pressure.

If anything that is the oil that you want to measure.

I have mine there and I have normal readings like everyone else.

Is it hooked up to the proper gauge for that sensor?

Most guages need the proper sensor to work right (correct reading).
