I disagree...who said it sounds butt? You just have to make sure the sub you put in it is getting the air space it needs. You can also stuff some polyfill in the box to simulate extra air space.nismogxs21 wrote:i like the trunk setup... i was gonna do the exact same thing (2 10" type r) but ppl were tellilng me how the zenclosure takes away from the quality of the subs & it sounds blahhh... idk how tru that is tho
The plasti dip surprising worked amazing!! i have no experience even with spray paint and i just winged it and it worked out well. the cans are sold at home depot for 6 bucks. i count go wrong and overall happy.DJBeasy wrote:I disagree...who said it sounds butt? Keep in mind too that it is only holding 10" woofers, which arent going to sound nearly as low as 12" no matter where you put them. I think it has a nice crisp, clean sound. I also listen to ALL types of music so I dont need my trunk to blast open with every song...but I do love my bass.
To OP, how did the plastidip go on the wheels? Tough process?
i literally just took the wheels off the car and sprayed with the tires on, but i just taped off the tires. once i got to the last one i got lazy and didnt feel like tapping so i sprayed the tire and all and before it dried complelty i peeled it off the tires.DJBeasy wrote:Did you spray them with the tires mounted? Im curious as to how it will hold up over time...looks like a pretty even coating though.
Honestly just build your own. I have all of the dimensions in a document, let me know if you want them.nismogxs21 wrote:good to kno! if any1 knows some1 tryna get rid of the zenclosure please send the message this way

Lets see some more pics of that Plastidip! I might have to do this to my stockers...
If you have fogs there kinda pointless but as a Daytime running light there great I love emJames200319 wrote:The plastic dip sounds pretty enticing to do to my coupe. I do have a question though about your LED strips. Are they more so for show than use? I've been considering getting a set that is bright enough to be used as driving/fog lights for looks and use.
No I don't have fogs. It's either buy the fogs off ebay and install them. Or go this route and be cheaper.PhEnoM78 wrote:If you have fogs there kinda pointless but as a Daytime running light there great I love emJames200319 wrote:The plastic dip sounds pretty enticing to do to my coupe.
