Have to use the ashtray for change pocket , but it's so deep have to keep change in a sack. Center console pocket does not have enough room and difficult to access while driving. Think it should have been designed with and upper/lower like my Acura coupe, which also has lots of little places to put things. Door pocket hard to get hand in and out of. Could have been a cell phone pocket on the side of the console for easy reach. No neat hiding place to keep a few bucks.

Love the diagram in the trunk on how to put 2 golf bags in sideways. It might just fit 2 bags for small children but guarantee 2 adult bags just won't do that unless I take out all the clubs first. In fact I still have to take the driver out and fit one bag diagonally. Need to put the back seat down to get 2 bags in.

I knew generally this was going to be a problem and I will learn to live with it but don't dig the inconvenience. Frustrating.

My rant.

I'm 77 and hard to please. Am I the oldest G37 coupe guy?

I wonder if there's a way to replace the center armrest/storage deal with something else that would use space more effectively. I've read a ton of reviews of the G37, as I'm buying one of the sedans, and complaints about that armrest/storage/drink holder part seem very common.

Hey Buddrough... you know what my friend...you very well may be our most "mature" member!

But I always say "age is earned" so good on you! Plus you drive a kik azz car!

Wow...hey Telco...you have some competition!

I agree that the compartments and "storage" areas are quite small and the trunk room is a joke.. but not everything can be perfect I guess!

yeah, you're just being old. Why didn't you get a sedan? I'd hate to see what you have to say about a 1 series BMW. you can barely fit your thoughts into one of those...well, you have a nice car.

Yes, I'd say so. Good for you though, nice to see that passion for cars has no age restriction.

OK here are the fixes...

Get a prepaid express way pass (no Change)Get rid of some crap that you keep in the car.

Remember this is a fun car... Only keep the things needed

Glove boxManual... NeededInsurance... NeededRegistration... Needed

TrunkPlug kit, mini tire pump, a few tools, jumper cables... Few rags and detail spray for bird Shiit

that is all i keep in my car...

Keep the rest of the crap in the trash

I hate when people buy cars as storage units... lol My sister does that... Keeps like a million things in the back of her jeep

I tested out the Coupe and the Sedan. I got the sedan for the extra trunk and backseat space.

The lack of storage for change is equal in both. Cubby holes are not included.

I think we will have to come up with our own solutions... maybe a pretty girl to ride in the passenger seat with her hands cupped in order to hold stuff... like change...

Didn't you get a little tray in the center console armrest? When you open it it should be there.

That's where I keep my changes. More than enough.

I use the cup holder area for change when I leave some in the car. I generally keep it cleaned out so there has been no need at this point. In the console I simply have my ipod and such. Glovebox is my GPS I seldom use (didn't need the Nav package) and a tire gauge. The trunk has nothing in it but it is big enough that I can fit a whole cart full of groceries into so it works OK for me.

I have no complaints. I bought my car for looks/speed/features in that order. It gives me all three. If I had wanted storage and cubby holes, I would have bought an SUV.

Try Driving an S2000. If I took anybody in the car with me, we would have to put our purses in the trunk. It had zero glove box and a tiny storage space in the back of the console. One drink holder. I kept my owners manual in a Zip-Lock bag in the spare tire storage space in the trunk.
