has anyone tried the drift yet, it's hard as hell,

i think they did a good job with it hahaha its pretty fun.

my highest score so far is 1.8 mil with a top speed of 108 mph.

ive been playing this since saturday, (i even beat the ghost car on the Mustang GTR challenge) and i like it, im not sure if i like it enough to buy it. the game engine is exactly like the one in Dirt, which is a high quality game and probably one of the best rally games out there. However much like Dirt it falls short in terms of Car Physics (cars feel almost weightless at times) and Customizations. Sure you cn adjust settings but not being able to modify takes away a small but crucial element. I own Prologue and i love it, the sounds of the engines is almost mind blowing, In Grid, not so hot. Grids best feature in my mind is the ability to rewind and replay. my comparison breaks down like this

ok so i played it again tonight, decided to turn the computer difficulty to "savage" turn all driving aids off, and use "pro" mode, but i never used that flashback garbage anyway

it took 2 or 3 times to figure it out again. but im telling you, its the best drifting in a video game ive ever played. its pretty damn realistic except for the response from throttle input is a little exaggerated.

anyway, CPU on savage - 1.5 million

me with no driving aids - 3.7 million, 110mph top speed, 34 degrees of average angle.

i actually got better with the aids off hahaha

Scores seem to vary with the NPC. I played it on normal and got 1.2 Mil and the NPC got 1.1 mil.

I got 14 million, haha. Just linked all the drifts for 2 laps. Pretty fun game, might get it just for the drifting when it comes out.
