i know people arent too fond of Lightwerkz after he bashed Brandon for his projector work (which is still going on, but i set the facts straight in a post on his forum), but he customized some tails for a customer, and they look badass. im not sure how i feel about the redded out turn signal though. he said theyre color matched to the car, so i asssume its either a dark slate or super black Alti. They might not look that bad on a red Alti too.

so i was checking out some prices on NissanPatsOnline for an extra set of tail lights......$89 a piece for sedan tail lights......$165 a piece for the coupe tail lights.....why are the coupe tail lights so much more expensive????

cuz the coupe is unique. its not as out there as the sedan? just a guess. and i like them lights.. but um.. why did they put the "old school" lights on the coupes? fronts and tails, when new cars have leds.. and bmw style project. . its like nissan went "lets try a coupe, but just make one like pre 03, and see how it goes" ...

I don't like the turn signal either. It's flat/matte but seems like it should be more glossy or reflective.

if the top of the turn signal wasnt that flat looking red and color matched and only the actual part that reflects the light was glossy like the brake light then it would be a winner, oh and if it was glossy black instead of grayAND if it there was an led retro fit

as it was said on the other forum, the red paint on the turn signal makes it look like a fruit roll-up was put on it. lol

Ok... what I don't understand is how this would go on the car?

What gives the stock tails the red look... is the cover correct? Once you put the RED cover back onto the housing... you won't be able to see all of this dope *** lights. Correct? Did he make a custom CLEAR cover? Or what's the deal?

these tails as well as the projector retro's on Lightwerkz forum are actually owned by someone on the "other" forum. he said he was going to post some pics up when he gets everything back in a couple weeks.

but if you did that on coupe tails, you could go with a flat black and it would give it the smoked look because the light would not reflect back through the red and it would be darker.

Some tail lights don't always need a cover. I assume this one is mod'ed so it doesn't need one either, kinda like the Tiburon lights
