1. Crank scraper2. Windage tray3. Aluminum underdirve pulley's4. Aluminum crank pully.5. Rebalanced crank (lightweight if possible)6. Fidanza Flywheel7. 11 lb 1 piece driveshaft.8. Lightweight axles?

what you guys think? would it be too revhappy?

Not if it dosent make any power.

I would not skimp on the axles. But thats just me. You also forgot about smaller OD tires, and light weight rims.

I would start with the lightweight wheels and pulleys first. Then the driveshaft. Since those are the easiest to install. Maybe wait until you replace the clutch to do the flywheel.

It wouldnt be too rev happy, it will just be wierd to drive at first, after the lightweight flywheel.

I have a clutch for sale you know.

I have the flywheel, pulley, and driveshaft, and it revs kind of like a Honda. It's nice.

I have been modding cars for over 12 years now and have ALWAYS stood by the "less reciprocating mass = easier rotation" Think of it as your car hole-shotting...

Example...you have a skinny guy standing in front of you facing away... you run and slam into him using a set amount of force. We'll say 5mph and you weight 200lbs.

He'd fly!

Now picture your friend standing but weighing a good 300 lbs... (one tubby tubby) you run at him at 5mph with the same force...you'd barely budge him.

Essentially it works the same way....Newton would agree.

To move a set amount of weight you must use a set amount of force.Albeit that the engine HAS a set amount of force, you can remove weight to make it easier to use the force that you have, hence they rev faster (in the same time making a bit more power, because of lost weight that you dont have to move anymore.

Make the car lighter, make the parts that move lighter, BUT DONT EVER SACRIFICE WEIGHT FOR STRENGTH!!! Only if you are going to change that part INDEFINITELY within a short period of time. I.e. Aluminum Con-rods are used in 3000+hp drag cars...but they are weak so they change them after only a couple of runs.

In a nutshell....Make it ALL lighter, but take strength into account, there is ALWAYS FATIGUE.

I make F1/NASA-Quality Carbon fiber composites, and I KNOW what I'm talking about when it comes to strength/weight/fatigue factors.

Hope it helps...And swap those axles too....,but MAKE SURE THEIR STRONG!

Ohh yeah... And there's no such thing as being too rev-happy. only having TOO low of a rev-limit. (I like high-rpm's, I have a Integra GSR that screams to 9000+, N/A, and I beat WRX's modded to the hilt)

heres an idea, remove your all your ac stuff or get a titanium exhaust(they weigh like 5lbs) i did both of these things and it is a big difference, when you do your axles, make sure to have 5 bolt(there much stonger.

Good one... I like those Ti exhausts too. Also the 5-lugs DO have more capacity and if you lessen the strength/weight, thats the est way of gaining back reliability.

Good call.
