Ok people, here it is a month and change since I have owned this car and I have finally got her to fire up after wiring the fuel pump straight to the battery. (Kinda sucks have speaker wire everywhere). The problem is none of of my lights still work. I have checked fuses and relays and all of them have between 12.2 to 12.4 volts going to them. I just came across the headlight sensor and there is 12v going to the sensor but I dont know if its good or bad. I found the headlight timer and dont know what the hell its purpose is or what it does. I just cant understand how none of these lights are working when not all the light are running on the same harness. If I cant find the issue then Im going to have to rewire the headlights, taillights, turn signals, and electric fan using switches which will make my car look like a NASCAR plus its a lot of work to do. Sorry for the long post but im fresh out of ideas on what to check next. Anyone got any?

Get a wiring diagram, start working back from the lights where you don't have any power...

might want to have a look at the swithc stalk, it's a fairly common failure point and at last check wasn't terribly expensive form the daler as it's the same as many other nissan of that era

Ok...sigh....i know when the lights are turned on from the switch, the headlights are suppose to just pop up, light up the area in front of the car, and stay. Well mine doesnt do that. When the switch is turned on the headlights are going up and down continually and it wont stop until i hit the button that flips the lights up (the one above the hazard button). he uphold relay is fine so what could cause this to happen?

That would be the switch, good sir. Friend of mine had the dancing headlights. When he replaced the stalk with one from my parts car it stopped dancing.
