lights won't come on

i'm new to the z world, and am still figuring out things, but i have a prob i'm not making anymore progress on, i have a 90 300zx n/a and when i turn my lights on all i have are brights, no dims, no corners, no fogs, no tails, and no dash lights. My dome light comes on though, i checked all my fuses under the hood and dash and they're all good, i don't know what else to do and it's been a week, any ideas and suggestions are welcome and appreciated, thanks guys...

are you sure you checked ALL your fuses?? this happened 2 me a few weeks ago. i was trying 2 get my license plate light 2 work and stuck a pocket knife into the socket and connected the positive and negative and all my lights went out. i only had my high beams when i turned on my head lights but my brake lights worked. it turned out 2 be a fuse under my dash.

i pulled every fuse out and checked them, and none looked blown. i too have brake lights, so what you went through is exactly what i'm going through. Another problem with the fuses is the guy a bought the car from apparently never put the cover for the fuse box under the dash on it, so i have no clue which fuse is what, but i will pull them all again and check them. If there's any way you can supply me with a pic of the cover i'd really appreciate it, i've been trying to find a diagram or something on the net that'll show me which is which but i haven't found one yet.

what's the best way to test the switch to see if it's bad?? My fog lights haven't worked since i had the car, and they're good too. I figured that my fog lights not working was my switch, but everything else worked perfect on my switch. But I'll try my hardest to check it anyway i can think of.
