Okay heres what my problem with my lights is...I have a 1990 240sx Fastback...My side markers, and rear center tail/brake lamp has never wroked since I bought my car about 6 months ago. I have recently purchased an s13 silvia front end and installed this on my car, and I had no problem plugging in the stock wiring into these lamps. The weird thing is, the front right corner light, which hooks upto the plug where my side markers used to hook upto, actually worked when I first had this front end installed. I'm not sure if this all happened at once, but once I hooked up the other corner light to this front end, neither of these corner lights would work anymore, and now not only does my gauge cluster lights not come on, but neither do any of my A/C console lights, and my tail lamps dont come on at all either, unless I hit the brake pedal. I tried using my continuity tester an it showed that no current was actually flowing through the side-marker lines. I have checked any fuse that has anything to do with "lamps" and they all seem to be fine, is there a main light relay that controls all of this stuff that could be blown or shorting out, or does this sound like bad fuse(s)?
