Lights come on randomly

Okay the past two nights I have woke up to goto work and the cars battery is drained.

The passenger side headlight will come on by itself.... not come up and turn on but just stay down and turn on. I think it's the switch on the column that's going bad maybe? When I am driving the brights light on the cluster will come on randomly and when I tap the switch lightly it goes off.

I'm really really busy with class all day 5 days a week and home work almost every single weekend (for the next 3 weeks) so I'm not sure when I am going to get time to hit up a junkyard for a new switch. (if we deem it being the cause)

Anyone with a similar experience?

When I turn the lights on they both come up just fine and retract just fine...
