I purchased a lightning Maf that I am going to run blow through, I ran into an issue though where I am not sure how I should go about resolving so it any one has insight or can show how they went about it please chime in.
The issue is that the Maf is 4in and my intercooler piping is 2.5in. I have a straight section of pipe that is perfect to mount the Maf but I am unsure of how to mount it. I am going to cut off the 4 bolt flange on the one side and put silicone couplers on both end obviously but my dilemma is how to get from 4in to 2.5 in. They make a 4 to 2.5in silicone reducer but is that abrupt change in diameter going to mess things up as far as the Maf reading goes? Theoretically it would in a free flowing pipe but is it enough to make it hard to tune? If any one has any idea about how to go about mounting this Maf in blow through or even draw through, please let me know. Thanks!

There is a weld-on adaptor that allows you to mount just the Ford Lighting MAF sensor itself to any size piping.
I forgot the name of the company, but, I'm selling my piping with the weld-on adaptor already installed.
