Well I have tried to research this for my Stealth 240... Had little luck

1991 S13

what Im trying to do is wire in a kill switch for every lighting system in the car, so License lights, Head lights, Tail lights, Brake lights, everything...

no I wouldnt drive around with it, just if Im rolling past some people in my hood who I would rather not drive past I can almost cloak my car :P

Black 240, Black rims, No lights... Predator >=)

Any input would be fantastic!

Just like is there a certain wire I should be focussing on, that I can just break the connection, install a switch and reconnect... So when I roll by I can flip the switch and go dark heh...

Thanks a ton NICO!-HoGG

You risk a terrible flaming with a first post like this, so I'm going to try to get the first post in here real quick.

The easiest place to do it would be at the fuse box. You can be ghetto and stick wires into the front where the fuses go or you could do it right and cut into the wires coming out the back of the fuse box. Either way the general idea is that you put a relay on each fuse wire you wish to interrupt, then wire the coils of the relays to a single switch. In this way, flipping a switch can cause the relays to break the current for each fused circuit you choose.

Good luck. Don't burn your car down. Don't do anything stupid. Don't get someone killed. I now wash my hands of this.

Well some can think its useless,

I think its rather practical - I will use it somewhat often...

I think I might try and make a toggle or relay within the lighting parts of the fuse box - Ill search for a fuse box list

It will be more than one switch... or a lot of relays and one switch. But I'm going to have to agree with worst idea ever.

Why not just turn your lights off and use your handbrake when you wanna go "stealth"

by the way, if your driving by..unless they can run fast..im sure doing the speed limit on 99% of the roads in america, they wont catch you. if yoru worried about them throwing somthing, call the cops and have they pay for it.

or option 3, dont piss people of dumbass

Thanks for calling me a dumbass...

I just wanted something rather easy to install, maybe something to do on the weekend - make my car a little more unique, just a cool feature...

As for pissing people off its not me - its either friend or gang related if you even want to call it that... So Im not scared of them running after me at all :/

Sorry for "Disturbing the peace" on the forum, sheez

agreed, "dumbass" was out of line, but this was agreeably one of the worst ideas I've ever heard of and I've had my 40 for a while. Something about this idea screams to me "safety out the door!" and is like playing Russian roulette with other drivers that don't want in on your game.

Well actually he's from Canada, where all cars by law have to have daytime running lights which turn on automatically whenever the car first gets put into gear. All Canadian 240s have them.So simply turning the "end of the left stick on the steering column" would result in your headlights, marker lights, tail lights etc. turning off, and your day time running lights turning on. I guess you thought you knew what you were talking about, but you don't...Dumbass!

Hogg- It is a pretty bad idea though. Are you smoking too much of our BC bud? Or maybe not enough? I'm from Vancouver Island btw. You're the nearest member to me I've seen on nico.
