I started noticing sometimes whenever I flip on my bright lights only one light comes on unless I press the switch in then both lights come on. I had originally thought it was the light itself, but I have replaced the light three times. Last light I replaced today and the bulb was broke inside the the seal. Don't know how that happen. I've replaced this light 3 times now. I am thinking I am having a switch issue because like I had said at the beginning whenever I press the brights sometimes only one light comes on unless I press the switch in then both lights come on. Anyone who can help me fix this issue? This is starting to get expensive.

If I have my facts straight, the headlight switch is a pretty common cause for strange lighting occurrances in the 240. It could easily be sending an overage of current to your headlights making them blow prematurely. I'd suggest getting the switch replaced right after you trace all your wiring to make sure there's no obvious shorts in the line.

good luck!

I've traced the lines and there is no shorts anywhere. That was a pain in the *** too. So what I did today was contact the nissan dealer in my area and had them order me a switch. Should be here next week. I will let them install it mainly because this isn't something I won't to mess with. The part was 88 dollars, and putting it in is going to be another 80 dollars. In other words I hate messing with anything electrical on a car.

Its after the fact, but...Did you try our sponsors, Pinnacle and Midway?? They have great prices on OEM stuff.

Dont pay somebody to install it. If you can trace the wiring, you should be able to pull off the installation yourself.
