Lighting/Electrical Issue~1990 20 FB

OK, I am having a weird issue that hopefully I can get an answer to. My gauge cluster lights are somehow connected to my interior Dome light. So when I turn my lights on, the dome light is on. Turning the light off results in my cluster going black. Has this happened to anyone else here?? What could be the issue?? HOW do I solve it??

errr def either a short, ground, or fuse. I'd start by checking those

Haha. Funnier thing is your tails,dash lights,dome light all hooked into same fuse. Theres a wire that goes to the back of your head unit that also if not taped off will ground and pop your dome light fuse. Pull out the liner and make sure nothings rubbing. Electrical you just gotta go out and start ripping s*** apart after you check the simple things.

Ok, so I had to replace a Fuse for the Interior lamps. I did that and now, dash (gauge) lights are on when the ligths are off, but the gauges go off when i turn the lights on.... apparently I have a ground wire short... time to try and FIND it... >.>
