Lighting/Dome Light - Neon Tubes Help.

i have 2 blue tubes hooked up off of my dome light with a ground coming back to it as well, the dome light works when i open the door but the on position it doesn't work, the tubes don't work in any position but when i hook a 9V battery up to it the tubes come on, should i be grounding it to the door switch in there when it opens and closes perhaps to make the circuit complete or be drawing power from another source?thanks

did you wire the transformers up too, or are you trying to just wire the tubes directly to the 12V source?

run them off of your 12v power wire from your radio, and run the ground to your radio ground. Thats the way i ran the four LED tubes under my dash and under my seats works great too.

ya thats how it is i just want the light on/off with the door locking system, i think i need another relay system in place to make it work the way i want, this weeks project!
