Have a 2005 Pathfinder, only one of the lighter sockets is working. The rear is dead. Which fust goes to these sockets? Also any one have a good breakdown of what fuse does what, and /or a wiring diagram?

I hate 2005+ FSMs. They have too many sections to look through. I can't find anything about the power sockets. I don't know how useful this will be, but I did find some fuse box stuff on page PG-81 of the FSM.

Your fuse box covers should list all of the fuses. I don't know how many fuse boxes are in the engine bay. Check the fuse(s) in the engine bay and in the interior wherever they may be. Also check the relay for the rear power socket (this one may be hidden in the cargo area trim somewhere if it's anything like the older Pathfinders); swap it out with an identical looking one to see if that makes your socket work. If it does, get a new relay. Also you can check the voltages with a multimeter at the power socket. I think the pin in the middle will be +12v while the inner tubular metal portion will be ground.

the fuse is located under your steering wheel in your change holder (well it was in my qx4) i believe it was a 7.5 amp one, but im not sure. its easy because under your fuse box lid or in this case, behind the change holder, it will tell your where each fuse for each component is.

Hello
I have a the same type of problem on a 2001 Pathfinder. Fuses under the hood and behind the coin tray for the power sockets aren't blown. The dash socket works but the center armrest and rear hatch ones don't work. Any ideas.

Thanks

There seems to be two fuses in the fuse block - one for the dash socket ("cigarette lighter" - 15A fuse) and a 10A fuse shared for the other two power sockets. I don't know exactly where this fuse is in the fuse box, so you'll need to try to track it down yourself. I'll look tomorrow in my fuse box though.

There is also a power socket relay behind the coin drawer. If the fuse looks fine, replace this relay temporarily with another relay of the same color and see if the power sockets work (or the other item now fails to work). Generally, you can find another relay at a junkyard for cheap if yours turns out bad.
