Hey guys, just wondering if you guys knew where to get a lightened crank pulley for the SR.

Unorthodox racing is supposed to come out with an underdrive crank pulley at some point, it should be lighter than the stock one. Not sure if that's what you want, but. Their website has been saying "TBA" for the crank pulley for like a year, so, it could become available at any time.

I talked to the guys from Unorthodox Racing at NOPI Nationals and they said that it should be released within the next couple of months. Not sure if this is true or not but that is what I was told.

My friend Frank was letting them use his s14 crank pulley to make their lightweight model...and to dyno it...

I spoke to Chris(?) because i had an extra s13 crank pulley, they were going to use that to make the S13 version(they dont know if its any different)...I just havent taken it off yet....I plan on bringing it there before SEMA (if they still want it) or else i'll feel bad if i see them there, hehe.

But i'd think at the least, the s14 one should be done soon.

They are still working on it. Brian aka Chigga got a job there so we have an inside line to all of their work. :D

Pros:LighterSpins accessories slower to free up power. Looks cooler.

Cons:Harmonic Balencer is gone causing more crank vibration. Spins alternator and waterpump slower. May affect lights and stereo if you are into that.Pulleys on Nissans are known for causing front cover seals to blow out causing an oil leak.

Do youself a favor and free up the rotational mass by getting a lightened flywheel instead.

My .02 cents
