Lighted Infiniti Logo in Rear Trunk Trim

Hi all. I'm not trying to falsly raise anybody's hopes about this, but I remember quite awhile back seeing (possible on Q45.org?) a picture of someones Q45 rear infiniti logo lite up in a light blue glow. I don't know any details about how they had done it but it looked awesome. I'm hoping maybe Wes may remember this one or someone on here. I REALLY want to do this to my Q and I bet there would be others that would be interested in it also.

Thats not a bad Idea, But I am afraid bemmer people have already thought of that one.

But the Q45 you are talking about must have been a 1994-1996 where the logo put on by double sided tape. Because on the 1990-1994 Q45 the logo was inside the plastic trunk piece.

I wish i could remember in more detail but, i'm almost positive it wasn't something attached to the outside of the plastic. I don't know how but it was lit up from the backside so it looked stock during the day and was backlit at nite.

I would think the rear logo on the 90-93 would be the one since it's painted silver from the inside and is its outline is molded into in the center light bar. Remove the silver paint from the inside, build a dam to contain the light around the logo, and run a pair of wires (from the reverse lights?) and install a bulb.

If the weather's right today pull the trim and center panel off the trunk today and take a look. With a screwdriver and a 10mm socket it's all righty-tighty, lefty-loosey and won't take 15 minutes. Take pics of what you find. I wouldn't mind lighting up mine also.

Where are the articles to de-Bling and remove all brand names and model indentification so the public won't know what you are driving as they target the rich and the ex rich for retribution..............FORD would be a good rear logo or those chrome fishes. Diety Saves, etc.

Way off base but have you noticed that 5,000 wealthy people are the only ones concerned about Maloff and Stanford and their ~55 Billion FRAUD.Most people think they [rich] got what they deserved and are happy their wealth will be redistributed.................just the start of class warfare.The President may pardon them and Congress give them a medal.

Dale you're thinking of the JDM Q's (or any non-US Q for that matter)... Among other of the cool features that was one of them. I bet if you could get a trunk bezel then you could get that feature...
