I came across some light wieght flywheels here for the 20 and 25. I might be able to get those if there is an interest but I could only get them to you EMS (japanese mail) I also dont know the exect price yet. I still have to do some talking and it may depend on how many would be interested in them. I will try to get a price as if I would buy 5 and let you guys know but it will take a few days.

Mods: this is not a group buy or anything I just found some parts the RB guys may want and trying to help everyone out.

The flywheels are Chromoly and made by Orgura clutch. The Flywheel can be seen here. http://www.oguraclutch.co.jp/o...y.pdf They should be cheaper than the price listed shipped but I dont know how much shipping will be(rough estimate 7000-13000 yen). Still checking. It will cost around 20.00 to get to me then I have to get them to you. By the looks of the numbers I see listed the 20 and 25 use the same flywheel. well post here if interested and email me if you want one. I will only get final prices for people if they are going to get one for sure other wise its a waste of time. Well hope this info helps some of you guys out I have seen some post about flywheels.

Also is there anything else nay of you might want. I can try to find it and get you a price.

I did not Know you could get a fidanza for the RB's. Are they chromolly??

Anyway I can get them for like 33000 yen but then I have to ship them to you guys. So if you can get the Fidanza's and they are as good as Oguras then I guess you can get them in the states. I guess if the yen rate was not 102 to the dollor this would be a good deal. Well I keep looking for deals over here for you all.

I can find them but I have not found a cheap way to ship them other than in a container and I wont spend that kind of money yet.

Looks like the price has gone back up, but, even tho they don't say Fidanza, I talked to the manager when I ordered mine, and they're made by Fidanza, just not labeled because they're a low volume unit.

Why do you prefer chromoly??Chromoly flywheels are a very very hard steel and to find some one to resurface your flywheel is going to be a little hard

Aluminum flywheels have replace-able friction surfaces which can be changed easily. so an aluminum flywheel lasts as long as you have the car except for chromoly lasts as long as it takes to kill the surface

this is personal preferrence, the aluminum one is usually lighther than the chromolly. Fidanza Aluminum flywheels weights just about 9.5lbs....too light for my taste

Finding someone to install the repalcement disk, then surface it ( they never lay down flat) is far more costly than finding a shop who will grind a billet steel flywheel, and a billet steel flywheel will NEVER come apart while in the car (as I have seen several steel-faced/recycled soda can flywheels do)There is a shop here that does a fantastic job on resurfacing the billet flywheels. I take them about 2 a week ( I import used ones from Japan).

You dont need to re-surface a friction ring!!!I have owned how many aluminum flywheels and I have never had one come apart on me.
