i have a 90 sohc and want to put a lightish flywheel and a stage one/organic clutch. ive seen some ebay ones for less than 300 but do those last. the car will be having no emissions cat back exhaust possible header and cold air intake. i plan on v8 swapping later but want it fun for now. im willing to spend some money but not 1000s for the clutch and wheel. i know i dont need no more than a stage one but i want it to last me awhile till i can do the swap.

Dude get a spec stage one clutch from frsports or something, i got mines for like $290ish. Pay as same or as close to the ebay price and get a name brand. Also for the lightened flywheel, if your gonna dd it, i'd stay away from it. A lightened flywheel will drop the rpms more since there is less inertia and it'll have that jerk type of hook during the shifts. Just get the stock one resurfaced!

I am doing a auto to manual swap soon and want to know if I can use the flywheel from my auto transmission or do I have to go buy a new one before I can swap it?

The auto trans come with a flex plate not a flywheel, so therefore your gonna have to buy either a used flywheel and get it resurfaced or buy a new one.
