Light up door locks?

My Rogue is a 2008 SL AWD. It is at the dealership for a new fuel pump. Ugh. Thankfully it is still under warranty.

I also asked them to check the door lock lights. I would think they should light up when the headlights are on. At night, unless you know exactly where the button is, it is hard to blindly lock and unlock the doors.

The dealership is telling me that the buttons were only lit up in the 2009 models. I find this hard to believe, but I can't find any documentation anywhere other than something that said the only real change between 08 and 09 was the automatic door locking feature. Nothing about the lights on the buttons.

Anyone have the same model with door lock buttons that DO light up? Should I call the dealership back?

Lighted door locks? Like, the key fob glows at night, or the buttons on the door handles for the intellikey light up?

He is referring to the door lock/unlock buttons on the door armrest.

AFAIK, none of the 08's or 09's had this feature.

Ahhhhh, gotcha. Yeah, I thought it'd be nice to have at first, but after a while I just memorized the general location and feel of the button so it's not an issue anymore.

Same here. It's just that they put me in a rental for the weekend, and it happened to be a 2009 Frontier (don't remember the exact model, but it was pretty basic). It had the lighted door locks, so I started wondering if something was wrong with mine.

I have an 09 SL FWD with only the driver side window switch being illuminated at night.

My 05 Frontier did have all the buttons illuminated on all doors!!

I've gotten used to the location of the buttons but it would have been nice to have this feature.
