light trouble!

I have a 91 240sx fastback LE, everythings good right now, but i am having problems with my lights! I turn on the lights, the motor flips it up, but thats it…no light. Sometimes, that is, it would occassionaly flick on every now and then. Only for a few seconds and both lights would flicker together. weird? well i checked all the lines and bulbs, and its ok. Any help would be great thanks!!!!!!

There have been several posts on-line concerning similar problems, but no one has a fix yet. Personally, my passenger side high beam won't work and I thought the problem was a bunrt out bulb. Imagine my surprise when I dropped $80 for an H4 conversion kit with trick 4200K bulbs and I still had the same problem!!!

I have also checked all of the lines, plugs and fuses and now I believe the problem to be with the dimmer switch. I don't mean the dimmer switch to dim your lights at night, but the switch that *blips* your high beams when you want to annoy someone. I'll try pulling the steering column apart this weekend and see what's up.

I don't know if this will help you at all, but it might help someone else with a similiar problem.
