light comes on everytime I touch brake pedal?

1991 2+2 . Everytime I touch brake pedal a red light comes on, then goes out as soon as i release pedal, it looks like a headlight symbol . Anyone know why

one of the bulbs is out. I would tell you to use the nifty search feature since this has been covered many times, but just realized the search they have now sucks.

yeah i tried searching but it never seems to work. I checked, all the lights are working? Unless there is a light under the lens that runs the whole way across the trunk lid above the key slot?

yes there are 3 bulbs under taht thing, sounds liek you have 3 bad bulbs, and they are a wierd size to, dealer or specialty supplier on those

hey there is a green box that i had to change back on the driver side light cause i had the same issue but i had no lights out ...i got it at a yard couldnt even tell you the name of the part

The bulbs have a specific ohm so just replacing them won't help.. Get the Nissan or one from another Z

3rd brake light check that all the bulbs match even if they work
mine had a mismatched bulb tooka lot of searching on and off the WWW
