I have a weird clicking sound somewhere in my dash whenever I slow down below 20mph or just when I speed up. It is hard to describe and it is hard for the techs to even hear - you have to listen closely. I know it is not a sound with the engine because it sounds more like it is coming from the dash. It basically sounds like a small servo motor or something tiny, you can even describe it as a leaf rustling sound - I thought maybe it was a motor associated with the gauges but I don't see any of them flickering about or moving irregularly so I can't pinpoint it. Again, this only happens towards the end of my stopping process and it is annoying me. At first I thought it was static in the radio so when it still happened when I turned it off I tarted to try to search but to no avail. You can only hear it well from the driver's side so that is why I thought it would be a dash thing. It happens with the air conditioning on or off and so I don't think it is an air system thing.
I had my 15,000 mile service done while on a trip and so I didn't notice if it was during this time that it occurred because I was driving at highway speeds but a couple of days after I noticed it in my car so I thought it was something they did during that service. But I was told that nothing in that service should have been messing with things near my dash. I can't think of what this can be...any thoughts?
Btw, this is a 2012 Nissan Rogue SL AWD with 15,000 miles and Indigo Blue (the color is important
