i want to change my dash lights to all red. how hard is it to get to all the lights? and which ones would be the hardest to change out?

its as simple as removing the cluster, which isn't that much work. the bulbs are all there.

the hard part would be replacing the ones in your HVAC controls to match... I've never taken that apart.

cluster isn't too bad, think I had to drop the steering column for clearance to get a panel or two out of the way. I'm surious abnout dismantling the HVAC and tackling those bulbs, most of them are dead.

I've removed my cluster a few times... you don't have to drop the column but considering that its only 4 bolts and it makes it a lot easier it may be advisable. the HVAC I'm sure is designed so that you can replace the bulbs, I've just never had mine apart to take a look at it.

Don't know if anyone is still reading this... I changed colors on the HVAC unit to match my headunit. I wired blue LED's in place of the tiny yellow lightbulb. Looks perfect now! [email protected] - I can explain the process and show the results if anyone is interested. It is well worth the $5 and 15 minutes.

I wish I had read this post before i switched out my gauges for indiglow gauges. Now I want red bulbs too

anybody got the latest on when we will know something about the lighting. I'm ready to change those bulbs. I got my dash stripped b/c i am installing a new alarm.
