Light came on?

ok i have the r32 gauge cluster and today the exhaust temp light came on. what turns it on. there did not seem to be any side effects. any help would be cool.

BTW: i just got 380 miles on my tank of gas.

If its hooked up properly, usually it means you that you have a lean condition. Just becareful you don't hear detonation, or u might be kissing yer RB goodbye. Oh you mentioned 380 miles on your R32 gauge cluster... the R32 cluster is in KM, so that would be 380km right? theres no way you got 380 MILES out of an RB!

236 MILES maybe(380KM) Yeah, it means that the exhaust temp is too high and indicates a lean condition. Like Mark said, be careful you dont make that motor go boom. What octane fuel are you using and did you upgrade your pump?

i am using 92 octane and i drove from enumclaw wa to beverton or then back to belview wa on one tank of gas, btw my speed does not work right now but that is a good guess. and i don't hear any det. i thought the light was for the cat? but i don't have one. here is my best guess. 175 miles to OR 185 miles back home to WA for a total of 360.30 miles round trip. Oh and BTW how do i check for a lean run.

because that could be a reason you run lean.
