does anybody have any suggestions on how to make the parking light and tuurn signal light on my 2008 altima coupe match the hid 6000k i just put on? i think there is a orange part of the lense in the parking light that would make the bulb still look amber. any suggestions??/

did people who did this go with the chrome bulbs or clear led bulbs?

to get the parking light to look hid, you need to open up the headlights and remove the amber strip. then replace the bulb in there with something hid looking, probably an LED.

for the turn signal lights, some have gone chrome and some have gone LED, but if you go the led route, you'll need some gismo that i can't remember to control the flashing, cause the leds give the computer a burnt light signal, making the turn signal blink super fast. the part is probably just a resistor or something. i'd just go the chrome bulb route as it's just plug and play.

thanks for your help. Is removing the headlight assembly fairly easy? I don't want to mess the assembly up if it requires some experience

removing the headlight unit is easy. however getting the lights open is another story. you have to bake them, literally. throw them in the oven to melt the glue that holds them together to remove the amber strip. not recommended for someone without experience, you can melt the plastic. so you might want to leave the parking light alone, and just get a chrome turn signal bulb.
