I has nothing to do woth the kits. A $50 kit will be the same as a $200 kit. The reason why you need to lower your lights is because hte light output is TOTALLY different from a halogen and a xenon reflector bowl. On a halogen reflector, there are more vertical angles as well as a an2 additional horizontal angles that are cut into the reflector to reflect the light since the light output, refered to as lumen is not as bright as a xenon bulb.
Honestly, I thought it was "cool" to have that effect but now I feel it is ricey. What you want to do is to get yourself a set of high performance projector headlights from.......wait for it.....
