So I read somewhere that you have to do the alignment on your head lights after you install the HID lights. Is this true? Will I have to realign my lights after putting in the HID's? I am about to do my lights this weekend.

You don't have to necessarily. After you install them and drive with them for a few nights, be sure to watch for oncoming drivers highbeaming you (thinking you have your highbeams on). If so, then you can aim them lower than they currently are.

They will probably need to be lowered

Park your car with the stock lights, shine them on a wall, and mark the cutoff location with tape

Try to match the HID height to that

it depends on the kit that you get. some of the really cheap ebay kits require that u align them after install. i got HID's off a buddy of mine that sells them and i didnt have to align them, just plug and play. but definitely go with the advice from above^. i sometimes get people flashing me their high beams, but they are at the same level as the stocks......and thats when i flash my high beams :rotfl

I has nothing to do woth the kits. A $50 kit will be the same as a $200 kit. The reason why you need to lower your lights is because hte light output is TOTALLY different from a halogen and a xenon reflector bowl. On a halogen reflector, there are more vertical angles as well as a an2 additional horizontal angles that are cut into the reflector to reflect the light since the light output, refered to as lumen is not as bright as a xenon bulb.

Honestly, I thought it was "cool" to have that effect but now I feel it is ricey. What you want to do is to get yourself a set of high performance projector headlights from.......wait for it.....Dangeris Lumenations
Much better performance and styling! :chuckle:
