Which is better a 4 or 2 pillar lift. Im gonna be doing stuff like oil changes, exhaust work, and basic engine work. Also which company makes the best lifts out there? thanks

4 is better becuase it is more stable. and witht he two you have to find the CG of the car before you raise it so that add more problems to the deal.

Is this meant as a joke? the only time this is an issue is when you hoist a ford super duty four door longbed or similar vehicle. and then, the only problem is when you have a moron employee hanging from his cheater bar while trying to break free the *stripped from the factory front shackle bolts* on said ford super duty. and then all that happens in the vehicle rocks a little bit and makes your hair turn gray as you break out in a cold sweat. either lift is fine for working on cars. four post is ultra idiot proof.

2 pillar is better in my opinion. You can do suspension work on it as well. I've used both, and 9 times out of 10 i'd pick the 2 poster

there is a one post where i take my car... i likes it better because i can drive over it without jacking up my kit...

it will be more expensive since it comes out of the ground...
