Yeah its about time to replaced my shocks on my 99.5 pathy. i'm thinking to lift it with 1/2 inch but im totally new to this lifting issue. So basically im thinking to get 1/2 inch lift coils/ shocks on the rear and same thing in the the front? Do i need to have an allignment after the lift and what are the good combination shocks/struts i can get? Is this lift will help to improve my towing or lifting heavy stuff? what are the other parts i need to change for this setup?

1/2" won't get you much lift but if you are wanting to know about shocks & struts only go with KYB GR2's in the front & Billsteins in the rear. I run Ranchos in the rear but will be switching to to Billsteins or Fox after I install the SFD. Also think about replacing the 2 strut tower mounts, aslo check out your rear lower control arm bushings & think about replacing them or just replacing the entire lower control arm itself.

Go with the air struts (or whatever those things are called) that go on the inside of the coils in the rear if you want to elliminate sagging from towing or hauling heavy sh*t.
