Hi everyone...I'm new to the forum and to the Murano world. I just bought a 2007 SL this past weekend and I'm lovin' it!!

I'm sure this is user error, but I need help. When I turn off the ignition and go to my liftgate, it opens up seamlessly. However, if I've locked up my car and return to the car later, I unlock the car with my keyfob and go to my liftgate, it won't open unless I keep the unlock button on my keyfob depressed.

Is this normal? Or am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

If it's similar to my murano, then the lift gate is connected to the passenger door lock so if the passenger door is unlocked then you should be able to open the lift gate. Is this not the case?

Yeah....I finally figured that out after about 6 days of owning the MO....I thought I could open it with only the driver door unlocked, but that isn't the case...
