To keep it nice and simple.

1. Recently purchased a Red Top and installed it.2. Wired up and On Timing.3. Motor is clean and fresh cut flywheel and clutch was already on the motor.

My Hydraulic Lifter are clacken. My Valves and Springs & Retainers look to me fine to the Eye. Now...should i just pull the SR out and exchange at the DEPOT or dig deep and inspect the Lifters one by one and bleed them out if they are no damaged.

You are asking if you should bleed the lifters or pull the whole motor out and put it back in? There is not even a debate. Just bleed them.
