Lifter ticking in the morning - getting frustrated LOL.

I know it is nothing to be worried about, but it makes my car sond like an old POS when it happens!If my Old Lady stays in the garage there is nothing, no ticking sound. When she is left out in the cold (40-45F at night), next morning she is ticking for about 30 sec and gets quiet. I hear one lifter (driver side). I've had Infiniti (whatever they use) flush (5-6 mo ago). I use 0W40 Mobil1.Q gurus and Y33 owners I need your input on this!Thanks!

You are using the proper oil.

Might try seafoam 2-3 days prior to your next oil change

Probably won't do any good if your had Infiniti of Kirkland do an Envirolution crankcase flush.

Preferable to seafoam (not liked as too alkaline by Q45tech) would be the BG quick clean. Be sure to follow directions, and drain it while it is still hot.

Do you think they did a bad job of cleaning the engine?As to Quick Clean, I have ordered one from Speedway Chevrolet (distributor), currently waiting Cheers!
