out of nowhere im getting a lifter tick, not positive its a lifter tick but this seems to be what it is
no loss in power, oil pressure, etc etc

tightened the throttle cable since it seemed loose, made the muffler make sort of a flutter sound when barely adding gas, loosened it some and now it sounds normal.

after doing this I noticed theres a tick (trying to get this on video), cannot hear the tick without the hood open.

thinking about cleaning the lifters but what kind of damage can running with the lifters ticking cause?

BTW bought the Z with a few hundred miles short of 60k and have done two oil changes since using 5-30W Mobil1

Yeah man use it, mine was pretty bad when I first got my car especially during a cold warm up and this worked immediately and has not come back since. Just follow the directions exactly.
