i bought a set of bc 272/272 cams and am planning on installing them next week. I was wondering if it is also recommended to upgrade to solid lifters w/ such high lift cams. Is it even possible to use the stock lifters or would they just screw things up?thanks

i beleive that you have to have cams made for solid lifters, so if you bought just regular cams you couldnt do that. also i have my BC stage 2s and im running stock lifter but upgraded springs and retainers. you should be fine unless you wanted to rev higher or somthing.

You have to have solid type cams. Cams are made differently for Solid and hydraulic lash adjusters. Stock lifters will be fine but stiffer, more durable springs are a must for the added lift.
