I just had my engine fully rebuilt and come to find out the machine shop did not replace my lifters, now with my JWT cam and bad timing chain parts, they are starting to fail. I am going to replace them these weekend, and was wondering what else should be replaced along with the lifters? the engine has about 1500 new miles on it, and it had about 130k miles befor the rebuild. i am going to call the machine shop tomorrow to see what they might have replaced (although i thought that they did replace them, but i cant belive them). so what other parts should i look into replacing along with the lifters. Thanks

This is off subject but i noticed in your signature you say not to buy the ASP Pully. Is there a reason why? I was thinking about getting one.

Thanks

yeah it broke.

I had to replace my guids, and so when i went to put it back on, noticed a hair like crack around the center section, about where the crank stops. if i could go back, i wish i could have invested in an Unorthodox Pulley instead

Ok more questions about my head? i picked up the rockers today, and i have been thinking of what else could be making the taping nose if its not the lefters causeing it. the only other thing i could think of was the springs. if they are my original springs, couldnt they have problems working with the upgraded cam? say that they are use to working with a lower lift cam, so with the new one, the rocker gets to the end of the lob and the spring dose not put the corect pressure on it to keep it in full contact with the cam, causing a tap sound when it finaly hits the cam lafter the lob? or am i just crazy
