It looks alright but looks a ton better with wheel spacers and 285 75 16's or atleast 31's.

Yeah you can fit up to a 11.5 wide tire on the stock 7in wide wheels...if they fit or not is debateable cause of the backspace, I never tried a 10.5 without wheel spacers. In order to fit the 11.5 wide tires on my truck using the stock wheels which have an offset of 4.25 I needed 1.5in wheel spacers purchased from trail gear....yes they are from a toyota but the lug pattern fits just fine...you just cant switch lugs between the front and back wheels cause they are a different thread count. Here is a link to a thread I made on NPORA about fitting the 33's on the 2in lift

Nice thread :P
so according to the backspacing issue, its not advisable to have spacers for the rear axle as the tires could rub the fender? itll probably be okay with stock tires yea? If i get new bigger tires in the future, i would have to take the rear spacers off, then the front will be much wider then the rear. Is that how the set up is right now on your pathy? thanks for all the info

If you are going with tires the same size as I was 285 75 16 (32.8x11.5) you will not be able to run spacers in the back because of clearance issues. What happens is that wheel spacer will put the rear tires out so when the axle flexes up...the edge of the tire will catch on the fender flare. You can run them if you want to cut your flares. But that size tire without spacers on the stock backspace tucks perfectly and just clears the fender flare all the way around. At the moment I have wheel spacers on the front 1.5in and thats all I ever had the back wheels are bolted to the stock location. I like the stance that it creates personally and there are no ill effects from doing it. If you are not going to be upgrading in tire size than there is no need for wheel spacers, unless you just want to push the wheels out more, cause the wheels will look like they were sucked into the wheel wells a bit once you do the lift.

Take note that you have a qx4 and I have a pathy, your trim is quite different from mine so all of the observations may be different for your application. You may want to ask emptyv about what he did.

You can quite literally see that if the tire was out any farther it would hit the top of the flare, and not be able to tuck into the wheel well and you would not be able to flex
