Okay, let's say I'm totally ignorant of any knowledge of lifting...How would I go about lifting my 01 qx4 2"? What can I buy, and where can I buy it? (without breaking the bank)

Is THIS what I would need to get? Or should I get spacers? What the pros and cons between the two?

Yup those'll work, but you'll also wanna go ahead & get new front struts & rear shocks. Plus maybe even new strut tower mounts.

the spacers will work but its kind of like using blocks for a rear lift instead of using leaf springs. Its kind of the low-ball way or ghetto/redneck way. You can also put like a 3/4"-1" spacer along with the lift coils but if you do definetly get Manual hubs (which you probably want to get if you go with the 2" lift any how).

Thanks! I wouldn't need to get all those at once would I?I won't be doing any hardcore off-roading, I just want a little lift.

You might as well do the struts cause you have to take out the struts to do the coils anyhow & if you get them later & pay someone to put them on then you have paid twice for them to take them out (if you are doing it yourself then it doesn't matter). You don't have to buy them all from AC though (find 'em wherever its cheapest). If you are doing the coils, then you might as well atleast do the struts & if you are doing the struts then you should go ahead & replace the srut tower mount as well. Its not about offroading its about ride quality. You don't want to just lift it & have a sh*tty ride all of the time.
