Hey there, everyone. Never posted here before, mostly cuz I just like to absorb others' knowledge, but it hasn't been brought up in a while...What's the story with Pradolifts.com? I know it was being designed/tested/applied, then there were safety concerns, then it was supposed to have been revived....but now nothing. I'm just curious, 'cause I love wheeling my pathy, but...at the same time, stock suspension sucks, 2" of lift really isn't much of anything. And I was really hoping for something more like 4". Now, I know about the severe CV angles and the such, need for manual hubs, etc. Hense the subframe drop. Which is brilliant, really. But...I'm half-way tempted to just get a hi-steer Dana 35 and cut and grind away all this IFS crap and sling it up 8" with some Cherokee lift springs front and back and call it a day. But, time, money and frankly the fear of effing something up so bad that I can't drive it for months and my wife killing me in my sleep are all concerns of mine. So that may or may not come with time. However, I've seen lots of people on 4x4parts.com say they've got a 3.5" lift (like OBX's)....is that just a 2" AC lift with a 1.5" subframe drop? And how does one exactly come by those, or do they have to be custom fabbed by yourself, shop, etc. Not really sure what route I want to take, but I'm tired of fearing small rocks (compared to others we used to just bound over in my buddys' trucks back home) and avoid deep ruts because of the lack of 1) clearance and 2) suspension travel. Thanks for any input y'all may have.
