I looked for lift points on the sides of my V. Everything seems to covered in plastic (which is fine, maybe keeps rust away). I assume most or all of the plastic has solid metal under it, where a lift foot might be placed, by a mechanic, when lifting the car. Nothing in the manual about lift points, unless I missed it.

Already had to waste time getting free body work done on a Sentra when the mech put the lift foot in the wrong spot and bent the metal.

Any obvious spots ? Otherwise I'll just drive out to the dealer and ask. But it would save me time if someone here can tell me.

Thanks

Yeah there is a lot of plastic under the car, I would ask the dealer to be certain you do not want a jack or life going through the floor.

What does the owner's manual say?

I think they are around the middle of the rear doors and toward the front of the front doors. There are cutouts in the lower sills.

Nothing in owner's manual ( that I could find after half hour of looking). Cutouts is it? Yes, I did notice some cutouts there. Thanks.

Update . Had my 09 Versa HB over to the dealer. Walked into the service area (uh oh) and looked around, saw they were putting the lift feet right under the metal edges that you would use when lifting the car yourself to change a tire. Asked a mechanic there if it ever bent the metal edges and he said no. The lift feet were metal, not padded. The metal edges aren't covered by plastic. ( By metal edges, I mean the "channels" or "rails" formed by 2 or 3 pieces of sheet metal being bent together, and running from front to back.
