Hello everyone.

I am trying to decide what is the best route for my 2008 Pathinder SE (non-offroad). I want to put larger tires my wheels for better snow clearance. I primarily use this vehicle during the winter, I'm not really concerned about the gas issues.

I don't know if anyone has had experiences with just putting larger tires on a stock suspension and having rubbing issues, or if the best bet is a rancho quicklift? I'm not really looking for a competition off-road package... like I said my objective is to be able to clear deeper snow.

Where do you live that you need it for snow that deep? Do they not plow the roads and leave 4 feet of it on?

You should be fine with the stock height 08 paths, just throw some good snow tires on there and your good. Mines dropped 2 inches and in the winter i put on my stock rims with the pirelli snow tires on them, and i can almost go through the whole winter without 2wd, i just put on 4wd for saftey cause then it really sticks.

I drive up to mt washington regularly and even with snow tires get high centered in the snow and hung up debris.

Can you recommend or confirm the aforementioned kit?
