I just received my lift kit from AC for my 99 pathy and I was wondering how many hours it took you all, any problems I should be looking for, any extra parts I'm gonna need, etc....thanks!!

it can take 3 hours. it can take 3 days. it depends on how incompetent you are.

you'll need a pair of camber bolts, maybe even 2 pairs. i'd recommend new strut mount and strut mount bearing, but at 160kmi my pathfinder did not need either.

you'll also need to buy/rent a strut spring compressor, or you can just pay a shop $40 to install the coils into the struts for you.

if you have any more questions, google it. this topic has been covered 100s of times.

The rear took like 30 mins it was the front that took the longest, things they dont tell you is like for the rear you need to make the burper tube coming off the rear diff longer, take the sway bar off and leavfe it off.... gets in the way and you dont really need it which is what i did along with upgrading my front sway bar end links toi Moog links from advanced auto; also dont tighten these down with a ratchet.... use air tools. definitly have 2 pairs of spring compressors because I did and needed them as we broke one pair... those springs are strong! It took me and 5 of my buddies about 5 hours to do the whole lift but we were also drinking at the time so I think that slowed things down.

It took me about 5 hours because i put the front springs on the back to start because they arn't labeled in the package at all and i didn't have a spring compressor (because i didnt know they existed) so i had to think "what would MacGyver do"?

I jacked the a** end of the pathy up, lowered it back down with the springs underneath...I used bail wire i had laying around and tied the springs while they were compressed and slid them into the right place, then used wire cutters to cut the wire and they popped right into place. it was dangerous and a pain in the a** but hell it worked.
