How are some people putting rear shocks on their pathfinder that is suppose to have front & rear coil springs.RANCHO QUICKLIFT??? worth it? Seems to be coil springs that give a lift.

1st - no OME suspension package will give a 2" of lift, only about 3/4-1" after it settles.

2nd - the coils are what give it the lift. You have 4 coils (2 front & 2 rear) but you also have struts up front & shocks in the rear. For more info on lifts read some of this: http://www2.4x4parts.com/ubbth...&vc=1 and more here as well http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showtopic=4990

3rd - if you want a real 2" lift then this is where you need to get it from (theres a number of combinations that you can choose from but all will give you 2" after it settles & about 2 1/2" when you 1st put them on): https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...341_8 or you can just order the coils (not advised on my end though) https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...=2302

If you have any more questions after all of that reading (it'd be hard but I'm sure you might come up with some) then just ask

fukinitupagain- thank you for the input.Yeah I think a coil only lift would not be a good idea.too bad the Quick Lift's from Rancho is not made for my year truck, would be too simple I guess that way.

I did all of the work myself on my suspension lift so its not that hard. The only thing you need that you might not already have is a spring compressor which you rent from an auto parts store

fukinitupagain- which lift do you suggest? Replace suspension (struts and coils) orgo with spacers?I have to get new tires in the spring, so will probably do work then.

This is the exact lift I bought & installed https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...=1551 but I also purchased new rear bushings https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...=4998 but you'll have to have a shop press in the new ones. Also I replaced the stut tower https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...d=776 (i don't know if this is OEM or aftermarket though) & all that but get OEM Nissan only parts for that (non of the aftermarket stuff is as good). I also don't run any rear anit-sway bar & the forn anti-sway bar has been broken for like 2 years now, but thats all just personal prefferance
