firestone alignment is a good deal. A typical alignment costs $80-$100. Now I just gotta see when I'll need another alignment down the road to make it worth it.

Lifetime alignment is a good deal, but I can't say buying through firestone was. Mine is through tires plus and I've had great service by them. My previous car was through firestone and I had bad service EVERYTIME I took it in. Out of the five times they aligned it, it still pulled to the right everytime they claimed to have aligned it. They also tore one of my CV boots and then played ignorant about it. The last alignment I had done before I traded it in I got through tires plus and they got it to actually drive straight; so it wasn't the car, it was them. Service will always vary at different locations, but I'm never giving firestone another dime after that experience.

I also have mine with Firestone and service does differ from service center to service center. I have one in my town that is pretty good, then another about 5 miles down the highway that I will never go to.

I purchased mine the day after I had my Eibachs installed (so yes that is covered, thats why I bought it) and then went back again after the springs settled in, 2 alignments paid for itself already.

Good investment indeed. but having picked the right company is crucial.

Like I said, its not necessarily the company but rather the individual service centers. Firestone is all over the country, Im sure you can find more than one in your area. Your lifetime alignment is good at ANY Firestone, just find one that does good work.

I work for BFRC, owns GCR/Firestone/Tires plus. If you use it, it will pay off. We tell all our customers to have checked every other oil change.

The dudes in wa told me once a year is good and if nothing is wrong then it is over kill to get it done once every 6k miles or 6 months. But if you don't have to pay for it it can't hurt.

Yea I usually have mine checked every other oil change as well. Our roads aren't THAT bad but we have our fair share of pot holes. Plus since i'm on staggered wheels I can't rotate so anything that will help the wear is a plus for me.

my dad just got an alignment on his 4x4 truck for $45 in Stockton CA. the place told him $45 for trucks and $35 for cars. he said they did a good job on his truck and he was really happy with the results. So I'm going to try them out one of these days... I have the Eibach pro-kit.
