Ladies and gentlemen, life is good.

I've noted the vast number of "**** sucks" threads, and well, I've been a large part of many of them. So, a couple of things.

First, I'd like to thank everybody for dealing with the aforementioned threads like the sympathetic, honest people you all are.

Second, I'd like to make note of the beauty of hanging out with your best friend in a very mellow, very random fashion. There is nothing quite like wandering around Barnes and Noble til they kick you out, then heading over to Walmart (cause it's still open) to continue wandering and talking about anything and everything. The best friend I speak of is amazing. Now, I say best friend loosely because I have a few really close friends that alternate that position depending on which one I'm talking to/hanging out with more. In this case, it's my best chick friend, with whom I have an amazingly twisted and hyperactive history, and thus hanging out in a mellow fashion is the most relieving thing to my psyche concerning her. But let's not get dragged down with psychlogical details.

Third, I'm starting a band. This is something I've wanted to do pretty much my whole life, and finally it's coming together. Not that a bunch of 17yr old kids are going to produce all that amazing of music, but once we get stuff slapped together I'll open up the 22,000-member rich vault of criticism that is NICO.

Fourth, I'm 3 semesters away from finishing highschool (yeah, shut up), and 7 months away from attaining 18yrs of age (yeah, shut up).

I haven't felt this devoid of complications in years. Maybe I'll stop grinding my teeth at night. Maybe I'll actually be able to sleep the whole night through while I'm at it!

Anyways, not that it probably mattered that much, but I figured I'd share my joy.

good luck on the band thing. Its really a lot of fun, doing gigs for like $25, meeting new people, opening for other bands. A lot of fun. too bad we had to break up after hs.

good times, good times.

edit: What instrument do you play?

Very good, always nice to have those stress free moments of life. Don't usually last long...but they are nice while they do.

Sounds like fun, concentrate on getting laid as much as possible too. Of course HS girls are awful at it, it just makes you appreciate college girls that much more.

Good luck with the band thing. It's an incredible time just to hang out friends and jam, not necessarily play a lot of gigs. Or well thats pretty much what my band did.

Oh yeah and definately try to get laid as much as possible.
