I have 125,000 on my 2002 and still running strong. My brother had 180k before selling his 1998.

I love the dependability and versatility of this vehicle and plan on buying another 2001-2003

I'm at 211,000 miles on my '01. About 70,000 has been towing my boat (about 2000 pounds, boat, motor, and trailer, plus about
400 pounds of dive gear). Still OK, burns a little oil.

I traded the '95 at 130,000.

I traded the '87 at 130,000.

133k here as well, though I've had quite the fiasco with my rear main seal and oil pan gaskets... other than that, completely solid. No oil consumption, original cooling system, no major repairs other than ones already mentioned - just good routine maintenance. I'm confident my PF will surpass 200k easily.

251,000 for me! Dumped some cash but nothing unexpected. Definitely outlasted my old Ford Exploder, that thing was a POS.

So what is the life expectancy of a pathfinder? I've seen some 250,000 and others as high as 400,000. When do these things quit? I am really in awe of Nissan for making a vehicle that seems to built to last. Although I wish they had done more rust proofing.

Ultimately it depends on the maintenance and how much an owner is willing to spend to keep it on the road. The best thing to do is stay on top of all maintenance and fix small problems before they become big ones.

98k on mine.

Buy mine :) I no longer need the size and am searching for a coupe/sedan. Can't afford to keep both.

I'm encouraged by what I'm seeing above. However... Mine has 150K on it and consumes far more oil than I'd like. But how long it will last depends on how much you're willing to do. My wife has said of me, "he won't let it die" mostly referring to a now long, long gone Toyota, but in general some can and will keep a car or truck on the road far longer than others. Regardless, I may have to put an engine or rings in mine, which may kill others, but not mine.

YMMV.
