License plate lights

I was trying to put leds in license plate ports, but i cant figure out how to pop off covers??? i read what i could find in the manual but couldnt figure it out. can anyone help? thanks.and then if anyone knows off the top of their head what bulub size i need for that spot, so i dont have to go look at the stick y

ok u need to take the pins out of the trunk lid liner. You pop them off with a screwdriver or anything for that matter. You dont pop em off on the edge its the part in the middle that pops out then itll come off that way. Then u twist the thing that hold the bulb to pop that out....n put the lite in....hope that helped im bad at explaining things

When you open your trunk you'll see I think about 4-6 of those plastic clips that he's talking about. They are round and like he said, you pop out the center of the clip... not the edge. Once you have all of those clips removed, just bend the carpeting out of your way and you should see the harness that connects to the bulbs. Just grab it at the base and turn it clock-wise (or vice-versa) and out comes your bulb. Replace with LED and repeat everything in reverse.

You'll need to take off the light bar if I'm not mistaken. To do that, you need to go from inside the trunk. The previous posts are referring to removing the trunk liner so you can get to where the light bar attaches.
